General Statement: Made from 100% estate grown fruit.
This wine benefits from a blending of 16% Cabernet Sauvignon and 84% Merlot grapes, providing a better balance of fruit and tannin. The wine boasts intense and complex fruit aromas of cherry, blackberry and blueberry.
This wine was aged 20 months in French and American oak, 35% new French and American oak, a combination of French and American oak which provides better balance and integrated tannins.
This wine is more refined than its predecessor and provides some hints of raisin, fig, black pepper and tobacco on the finish.

- Rootstock: own-rooted
- Location/Soil: Clay loam and loam soils, on the north and south facing sides of the vineyard

Winemaking Notes:
- Fermentation: Primary fermentation in open top fermenters with three daily punchdowns. Secondary fermentation in barrels.

Barrel Aging: Barrel aged for 20 months in French and American oak of which 35% was new (French and American).

Tasting Notes: This wine boasts intense and complex fruit aromas of cherry, blackberry and blueberry. The medium toasted oak provides balance and extends the integrated tannins through the finish. A more refined Merlot, it provides elements of raisin, fig and tobacco.
Accolades and Awards: Not submitted due to limited production.
Aging Properties: Ready to drink now but will continue to improve in the bottle for at least 5 years.
Food Pairing: Lamb. In general, medium bold flavored meats, but capable of holding its own next to hearty meat dishes as well.
