Tasting Notes Our first Rhone blend, this wine blends fruit, spice, and subtle oak to create a wine with finesse! The cocoa that is so characteristic of the vineyard’s terroir exhibits a subtler presence. The fruit is balanced with notes of black cherry and cassis. Interestingly enough, the nose is of cardamom, vanilla and white pepper. The front pallet begins with the hint of cocoa and moves to licorice, and new saddle leather with robust plum flavors on the mid palate. Plenty of earth, fig and toffee follow through to the finish.

Aging Properties: This Rhone Blend is rich and deep and will only get better over the coming 6-9 years.

Food Pairing: Very versatile but we recommend paring with lamb with rosemary and spice, or roast duck with a plum glaze.
